What a priest needs from you

The names of the departed (and, if known, their father's and grandfather's names), your family gotra, the relationship to you, the tithi or date, and your own name. If you don't know the gotra, the priest will advise the traditional alternative.

How it works

  1. Tell us their names — the departed, your gotra if known, and the day to observe.
  2. A priest takes the sankalpa at dawn in India and the offering is made.
  3. Join live or receive the recording — photographs and video, the same day.
